Wausau Paper (NYSE:WPP) today announced the introduction of MicroBriteTechnology - a thermal performance enhancing feature of its ProPly® and ProRedi® food packaging and food service papers for microwave, convection, and conventional oven applications. MicroBrite is designed to address the $3 billion flexible packaging segment of the snack foods industry and its growing need for non-charring paper products for single serving and portion control food packaging.

The identification of new applications for existing products continues to drive innovation and access to expanding markets for our Specialty Products division.
