Xytech Systems, a leading provider of media asset and workflow management software, announced today that DTS Digital Images, Inc., one of the industry’s leading providers of film restoration services, has selected Xytech Systems’ software to manage its workflow and postproduction operations. DTS Digital Images provides services to a wide range of entertainment customers, including film restoration, digital blowups, and image processing for Digital Intermediate and HD compression. DTS Digital Images is well known for remastering, frame-by-frame, some of the entertainment industries’ most prestigious films.
DTS Digital Images will be using the MetaVault® Library, Scheduling, Time Card, and Bidding modules of Xytech Enterprise to manage various working processes including the scheduling and tracking of resources and determining time and cost required for film restoration work. The Xytech Data Interface Engine will also be used to connect with the in-house enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems as well as other applications within the facility.
