Ann Inc. (NYSE: ANN) reported higher second quarter earnings of 63 cents per share compared with 47 cents per share in the year ago period that surpassed analyst expectations as revenue rose. Shares of the women's apparel retailer leaped $5.75 to close at $33.89.
