Intel, EMC lift tech stocks; Yahoo stays flat

Tech sector sees strong rise on Wednesday morning, lifted by gains at Intel, EMC and VMware. Yahoo stayed flat, while Apple ticked down on report of potential extra charges related to FaceTime video-calling app.
