Goldman lags rivals as it falls near the open

Investors on Tuesday shrugged off a cautionary report on the banking sector form Bank of America Merrill Lynch analysts who trimmed their outlook for rivals Citigroup Inc, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Group Inc..
