Maria serves as a Medical Laboratory Technician with the Southcoast Hospital Group. The Group is part of the Southcoast Health System, which is a community based health delivery system with multiple access points, offering an integrated continuum of health services throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and East Bay, Rhode Island.

Maria, who has over 20 years of industry experience, is responsible for interacting with oncology nurses in the application of chemotherapy to cancer patients. During her collegiate career, she earned an Associate’s degree from Bristol Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree from Kaplan University. Maria is actively involved with the American Red Cross and the American Society for Clinical Pathology
