LAK Research & Information Management is a company which provides genealogical and historical research services. Their knowledgeable team’s educational and professional experiences directly relate to their services. They have worked with local, national and international records, resources and repositories. The company has the knowledge and experience to complete their clients’ projects from organizing what they have to providing research guidance or services and then to presentation materials.
Laura is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, Litigation Support Professionals Summation Users Group, and the Alberta Family History Society. Laura published an article entitled Grandma, If Only You Could See Us Now! for the Alberta Family Histories Society Chinook.
During her collegiate career, Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and History from the University of Manitoba. She also studied Adult Education at Red River College, Cree Language at Mount Royal College, and Records Management at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Laura is currently in the process of earning a Certificate in Genealogical Studies from the University of Toronto.
