Imation Corp. The Tekne award recognizes Minnesota companies and individuals for superior technology innovation and leadership.
Imation’s Defender Software Suite is a multi-tiered software solution that enables organizations to customize and enforce device authentication and security policies, and to deploy and manage removable storage devices without purchase of new hardware.

After introducing its Defender Collection hardware portfolio in 2010, Imation made three strategic acquisitions in the growth market for high security portable storage hardware and management solutions: ENCRYPTX, MXI Security and the IronKey secure storage hardware business.
