HyperSolar (OTC:HYSR) announced an e-mail promotion campaign at the opening bell this morning and, as with many stocks I’ve written on before, a buying frenzy ensued. According to the e-mail I received, the Company compensated the e-mail provider $25,000 for its services and has already more than doubled its share price in the first hour of trading this morning. As I write, shares of HyperSolar were up 83 percent at $0.22 per share on very heavy volume of nearly 3 million shares compared to its average daily volume of only 44,000 shares.
