Both Darren and Kelly, being Dads ourselves, know what it is like to struggle to make sure your family is fed and keep a roof over their heads. This is one of our main driving points pushing us to get this show on the road. BP is paying for the cleanup, but who is paying for the loss of livelihood of the families of the fishermen and the tourist industry while they are waiting for their claims to be reviewed? This is where we make our stand and offer a helping hand to our own.

We are in the process of recruiting bands and sponsors to join us in helping our fellow Americans cope with this crisis that has landed on our front porch.

We would like the show to be the first week of August. A possibility of more than one venue is being considered. This is cutting it close on time, but the families are feeling the impact now and Paragon wants to help as many people as possible through this tough time.

Some of the bands already onboard are Charm City Devils and Vs. The Earth. We would ultimately like to have a total of five or six bands, including some major headliners to help bring support and attention to this great cause. Paragon will unleash their stage show to support the bands' performances, including our Aerial Dancers, to enhance the concert experience as a whole.

We have designed a shirt to sell in support of the effort with proceeds to benefit the charity. ( see image below) $20.00 from each shirt sold will go to the LDRF in support of the families and will be available on the Paragon Collection website (listed below).

We will be working to raise money for the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation (LDRF) http://www.louisianahelp.org/ . LDRF is a private foundation established by a team of national and local experts in philanthropy and community development on Sept. 6, 2005. LDRF's mission is to provide resources for the relief, recovery and betterment of all its people by ensuring access and opportunity in rebuilding their communities and culture. LDRF has already begun to provide grants to help fishers and others whose livelihood depends on the fishing and seafood industry.
